Pros

In web department, good learning in webservice and api development

Cons

canopus treat every employee same and make them cry for experiencd letter. I am sharing my personal experience here. I joined as fresher and HR told to give 2 month training and learning. company give sty-fund on training. After 2 months, managment said that my performance is not good so training period will increase 1 more month. I said ok and they give me styfund in 3rd month also. After 3 months, management again wanted to extend training and give me same styfund amount. This time, i refuse to accept this so management has to hire me as permanent employee and i got salary hike.(because there was a shortage in web team at that time) On completing 1 year as employee (3+12 months), when i request for increment, HR again told me that my performance is not good and want to take 2 more months to judge and then they will provide increment. (If they have not judged in 15 months then how they can do in next 2 months) I refuse to accept this condition so company start force me to resign even without my mistake. And i have no other choice to do becuse owners forcing me to work even on holiday(2nd and 4th saturday) when i resign, owners did not give acceptance on mail and HR told me to work 2 month of notice period. i knew that company wanted me to work on same salary and i am sure they still will not give any certificate or letter because i resigned,company did not fired. (if company fires and do not give any papers, employee can take legal action) But canopus management is very clever and do not make any scene like that which can go against to company. that is why owners do not accept any employee resignation and never tell last working day. so I stop coming to office suddently and have to leave without having any paper. In 15 months, i also got to know that company follow same procedure with almost 2-3 fresher out of every 10 and in every department. initially company do not put on payroll easily and when they do, employee has to suffer same thing at yearly appraisal cycle. with me, there were 3 more freshers who faced same thing and have to leave company without any experience certificate. this is my humble request, if you are joining like fresher in canopus, please contact any current employee and talk immediately. owners and HR department talk sweetly in starting but later, they show their real character.

Pros

Only internal team bonding is good(Personally) without managers. Apart from this there is no pros here.

Cons

1. Firstly all reviews are fake. They are forced employees to write positive reviews or all the positive reviews are written by the owner or the BD employees by the direction of owners. 2. No appreciation on performance delivered (Always say's your performance is not up to the mark). 3. Too much office politics, HR management is very worst, also they(Manager and HR) take out personal grudges with the employee. 4. you have to work on weekend there and once you will apply for increment, they will again tell you to sign minimum 1-year bond. Also, they will not provide your all papers/documents. 5. No commitment ever shown from company people about anything. They will change there policies according to their profit. 6. If you ask for your annual increment they will told your performance is not up to the mark for every employee, and then they will increase your bond also on very small amount of increment again lower than your expectation. 7. If you are in canopus and want to apply job in other company of indore, you know what interviewer used to say, they say, first take your papers and do an exit then apply for the interview. 8. There is no Professional Environment, Management will simply hire the candidates for their company's Benefits and whenever they want to terminate the candidates or increase there probation or training period for whatever time(6 months, 9 months or may be more of this). 9. Salary issues - Salary can be deducted at any time without any notice. 10. You have to work on your leaves and on holidays also (including National holidays), midnight also.

Pros

Only pros for the company is your colleague with whom you spend your time.

Cons

There are plenty. Start with the senior mangement, they hardly comes to office. I used to talk to a director only on the phone and in span of my 1.5 yr I haven’t seen him. All of the good reviews are fake and written by the owner or the BD people by the direction of owners. You can see inects and crockroches on the table on the floor under the table and at every corner your eyes can see. If you are in canopus and want to apply job in other company of indore, you know what interviewer used to say, they say, first take your papers and do an exit then apply for the interview, mark my words I’m saying only about interview not the job because all knows that canopus will not give papers to the employees who are not that smart to fight for their rights. For some employee they do give some relezation because they know that the employee will release their secrets if they do anything wrong with him. Hr do not have any rights with them. For a single question they want 10 days to revert. They also need mangement aproval to distribute salary slips, how ridiculous this is. They do have policy on the portal just for the namesake. They used to change their policy for each Saturday whenever they want. They will propose you a probation of 3 or 6 months and it went upto 9 to 12 months with the only reason is that “yout performance is not upto the mark”. You can think Why they want an employee for 9 months on probation whose performance is not good which they already known on after 3 months of his probation. There so many more cons but I will continue it in next reviews. One more thing , after this review you will surely get positive reviews which will say “there is no cons as such now”😅😅 In summary don’t waste your time in canopus other-wise they will waste yours. Please try other company as they will have less cons compare to CI
