Pros

Maybe if they relocate you from somewhere in Shenzhen then Vancouver is definitely better.

Cons

Bad culture where talented and initiative people are punished for their desire to change anything. Below market pay. Studio is controlled by head office in Japan and they completely unaware of what it means to be a video games studio in Vancouver.

Pros

Nice place to work, very casual, small teams and each person takes ownership of their project. Clear management style, no confusion on whats going on within the company. Good vacation + insurance plans.

Cons

It is a nice place to work but mainly deal with simpler 2D tile based cellphone games. It would be great if there are more 3D iphone based "cooler" games made. code base/infrastructure can also be improved a lot. Compensation is not good....
