Staff, especially some doctors, are dismissive and unapproachable — there is little to no interest in teaching or supporting growth, Extremely overworked environment. Long hours with no scheduled breaks or consideration for well-being. Management is completely disconnected from the floor — they don’t listen to concerns, and feedback goes ignored or is met with defensiveness. Little to no support system for trainees — interns and residents are often left to figure things out on their own with minimal guidance and zero mentorship. Pay is significantly below industry standards for the workload and stress involved.
