Pros

Making a poverty level wage.

Cons

The last several entries were written by the family. They some can erase negative reviews. These are very powerful people. Do a background check on the management and it will make you sick for the owners they love corrupt people.

Don't believe it!

Pros

They give you a lunch break.

Cons

You can be sure that any positive review was manufactured by one of the family. Trust me. We were all asked to post phony reviews! No one has anything good to say. The culture is disheartening but they would like everyone to believe that they really care for their employees. Underpaid and under appreciated.

I am sorry that you had a negative experience working at Capitol. We certainly do not ask anyone to post phony reviews and I am glad you took the time to post honestly here. We do, truly, appreciate our teammates and actively solicit feedback in our anonymous annual employee surveys . Our HR Director researches wages to make sure they are competitive in every department. I am sorry that we fell short of your expectations. I will have to work harder to make sure everyone feels valued, appreciated and fairly compensated. Thank you, Ken

Pros

None that I can think of.

Cons

Compensation is poor. They act like they care and want to listen but in reality they just don't. No proper training program in place.

I am sorry that you think we are "pretenders." My executive team and I work very hard to consider the needs and desires of all 151 people that rely on Capitol Lighting. We do research to make sure our compensation is competitive. We solicit and respond to feedback from every member of our team. I will acknowledge that we can improve our training program and we are working on it. I am sorry that we fell short on these areas. I appreciate that you took the time to give us this feedback. -- Thank you, Ken
