Pros

They offered remote working to everyone

Cons

1. They have a verbally abusive MD with a foul temper that lacks the maturity to lead in an impartial and level-headed way. 2. Solid billing and recruitment performance won't save you from his wrath. 3. Lack of structure 4. Mediocre company benefits 5. Everyone is micromanaged. The senior leadership did this to validate their position and salary.

Pros

When I say CHS was built on culture I mean, a positive culture is of the highest priority. Not only is the greatest care taken through the interview process and the culture highlighted as a positive one, from the inside looking out, it has yet to disappoint. The 3 words that come to mind when describing the team as a whole --generous, ambitious and intelligent. Each member of the team whether leadership or otherwise is willing to lend a helping hand, provide a solution (AND the path to said solution), positive encouragement and constructive criticism when necessary. Thats just the tiniest glimpse of the collaboration. Time is of the essence in recruitment but there is always time to help your neighbor (candidate, client or teammate) within the organization. Unique to this company, the teams personal career paths are valued in more ways than one. Personally, I've learned from each immensely. Sharing of industry knowledge, specific skills and best practices are a daily occurrence at CHS. Questions are welcomed and strong initiative is rewarded in many different ways. The flexibility and entrepreneurial nature of the business is unique and highly enjoyable. There is zero micromanaging and you are given the tools to succeed and equally the support. Should you choose to soak in all the information you can and run with it, you'll likely thrive in this environment. Due to the collaborative nature, the team prioritizes meeting and enjoying time together outside of business hours. Getting to know one another on a personal level is encouraged through team outings and/or travel. While still professional and classy the outings are always playful and lively! Leadership -- Can't rave about leadership enough! Professional development is also taken extremely seriously. Your path is definitely what you make it but the people behind the scenes who help you get there are absolutely the reason it's possible. It's a soft approach with a healthy competitive edge. You're held responsible for your productivity and because the guidance is so thoughtful and inspiring you are able to grow at a steady pace. Diversity is an ongoing priority. It's something the team and organization as a whole values in all aspects. It's inspiring to work amongst so many different people with so many varied backgrounds and of all levels.

Cons

I'll preface this by saying, these aren't necessarily "cons" because there are little to none from my perspective. Just things to consider. If you are someone who isn't self-motivated and driven to succeed in whatever capacity this is likely not the environment for you. The resources and support are continually readily available but this companies approach is very entrepreneurial. YOU are in control of your trajectory but the good news, you have every opportunity to hone your skills to succeed. The smaller team allows for full visibility. However, at times it can feel overwhelming being SO visible all the time. Although, it's that much more of a motivation to kick into high gear and perform. It's a numbers driven role so goals must be met. Not all of the team is based in one location. Realistically, most organizations aren't. There are remote team members across the globe and those in major hubs who work together a few times a week. Not necessarily a con by any means just something to consider. All the more exciting though when we do get to collaborate face to face. Remote collaboration is of great importance and feels natural.
