Attorneys. There are 2 decent partners and 2 somewhat decent associates. The expectations of all attorneys is completely unrealistic. I’d feel more positive going in front of a firing squad than I do walking in the door every morning. I’ve never seen so much turnover in my life. There are a few attorneys and 3 support staffers that have been here more than a year. Most people leave in well under a year. There are a couple of attorneys that have no respect for others. They are extremely arrogant and believe because they went to law school, they’re better than everyone else. The way they treat staff is chasing them away. You never of the attorneys will be in a bad mood and decide to attack you all day. I can’t tell you how many days have been ruined by nasty emails sent or rude memos in your mailbox waiting for you when you walk in. More often than not the thing the person is upset about is on their desk or has been directly emailed to them multiple times. Attorneys take no responsibility for their mistakes. It’s always the fault of someone else. All attorneys rely on support staff for menial tasks. In my time here I’ve only heard thank you from 2 associates. People hardly talk to each other. The environment is completely oppressive. There’s no working as a team. There’s one person in particular that would throw her own mother under a bus and she has no interest in helping anyone, but no problem pawning off her responsibilities. Another review talked about great pay and benefits. Both are only mediocre at best. Time off is a joke. Better hope nothing happens to a family member, there’s no FMLA and no sympathy for family crises.

I hear tumors about this firm, yet still decided it was worth a shot and my own opinion of it. No exaggeration, it felt like I was walking down death row every morning going to work. The employees rarely speak to each other, no work is given to you for at least two weeks of being there, the turnover is the highest I have ever seen or heard of in a firm. This is not limited to staff being terminated it is more so people quitting after one day, one week and definitely within one month. You are hired to do a job and then no one trusts u to do that job. Employees are belittled in front of other staff, the kitchen is in a basement, and the office manager position has had at minimum 10 new ones in the last 2 years. No one likes it here you can tell.
