⚠️ I wish someone had warned me to avoid
Pros
I met many kind & extremely intelligent colleagues (most of whom were later laid off and also existed in burnout during their time there, see the cons below)
Cons
Foremost, if I can give any advice it would be that asking previous employees about their experience with this company is always a great idea (& you can locate them via search bar on linkedin). I can say without a doubt that in my career (experience with quite a few CEOs), Cardinal was the most burnt out and underappreciated I've ever felt. Run fast from companies who preach 'we're a family' or 'work hard, play hard.' Clients are allowed to disrespect the team and leadership does nothing about it, while gaslighting you that they will address it privately with the client. Leadership plays favorites and lacks true leadership skills such as being open to feedback, having humility, creating a HR dept. that we requested for well over two years (hoping this has since changed), caring about the career direction of their employees etc. I am truly shocked at any review that mentions they developed personally or professionally because I never saw this in over 2 years with them and know they now outsource work to Argentina. They have gone through bouts of major layoffs multiple times in the past few years with mostly the same leadership team in place...red flag & then immediately turn around and hire heavily again. Save yourself a headache and avoid this sinking ship/don't waste your time here.
