Remote work is manageable, but favoritism breeds toxicity

Pros

Work is simple enough that remote independent work is easily managed with minimal supervision.

Cons

Extreme favoritism from executive and senior management towards certain employees leading to a lot of negativity and undeserving promotions. Promotions given within 3-4 months of joining to employees hired through nepotism. Constant micromanagement leading to toxic work environment. Complaints are not taken seriously.
