Pros

I’ve spent a majority of my career with Cardlytics and am impressed with its current state. The company is right-sized, efficient and poised for growth. The leadership team is amazing - they’ve turned the business around while keeping compensation and benefits in-tact. They truly care about their employees and it shows.

Cons

The business has had its challenges over the years. I left two times and have come back again. The current leadership team is one of the best teams I’ve had the privilege of working for.

Pros

Cardlytics offers a calm, structured environment with genuinely supportive cross-functional teams, Leadership is accessible and growth-oriented, with a clear focus on improving performance while valuing employees as the company's greatest asset. The culture emphasizes collaboration, especially during lean periods when teams pull together to manage workload, Key hires have helped balance responsibilities, and long hours are not the norm. Unlimited PTO is encouraged and actually used. The hybrid, remote-first model provides flexibility, with the option to work from the office for those who prefer in-person collaboration. The interview process was exceptionally organized and transparent, including a detailed portal outlining interviewers and discussion topics. It was one of the most thoughtful hiring experiences I have encountered.

Cons

There is a continued emphasis on efficiency and financial discipline, which requires adaptability as priorities evolve. During understaffed periods, workload can temporarily increase, though team collaboration helps mitigate this.

Pros

-Close partnership across different divisions - product, sales, engineering, marketing all work closely together and pull in the same direction. -Sales autonomy - sales people have autonomy in how they manage their business, sell to clients, entertain clients and run their day to day. - Amazing data - employees get to mine a huge amount of customer spend data to create insights and proposals. Clients love this and value the input. - Fun culture - it's changed over the years, but Cardlytics culture is unique and people-oriented. People are happy, have fun and have positive relationships with each other. - Remote first policy allows people to work from home - Good pay, leads market

Cons

There has been a lot of change as the company establishes it's business priorities. Changes in responsibilities, teams, client base have been challenging. The stock price is low, which makes it harder to give high value equity rewards.
