Pros
Everyone really nice, part of the Queens network, so you'll get the benefits of working for Queens such as insurance, 401K, life insurance, etc. Nice to work with families in a home setting where you have a lot of autonomy. Set your own hours, working pace.
Cons
Management and SOD reviewers are pushy, always expecting more than less, especially when it comes to documentation. It's never enough, creating imbalance of family and work life. Always stressful with documentation. The management seems like they care but in actuality they are coming down on you, stating "we want you to become a better nurse" excuse. They expect you to complete your documentation the day of, especially with SOC, expects for you to see 2 SOCs a day and add on more patients to your load. They are always short staff, and will call you to see more patients on the way even though you have a full load. Some of the staff in office or telework do not understand the stress of the Field Employee. Also, even though your work day ends at 5pm, they do not care and will continue to call/text you about your visits creating stress and anxiety.
