Pros

Guaranteed work. Training is really good. One of the best.

Cons

Caretech is colour coded and is made of clicks. For one to be promoted you must belong to a click. This is a place where lazy people get promotion and hardworking ones victimised. The headoffice is full of incomptent staff. Support workers are never listened to and are used as objects. If onewa ts to suffer for the rest of life then work for caretech. There is a lot of nepotism and promoting people without qualifications for the job. It's a profit driven organisation ruthless when it comes to money.

Pros

Our support workers do an amazing job even though they are unpaid and mostly unappreciated. The people on the frontline want to do the very best they can for the children we support. Some fantastic people that are undervalued in the lower paid jobs admin, finance etc. My team. They are what keep me staying working for Inspire.

Cons

Management have just had a big Christmas bonus thousands of pounds each however support workers who have worked throughout the pandemic to bring in the money received £15. Most support workers are barely above minimum wage. Staff have been asked to not use track and trace, have taken tests and then continued to go to work before results have been received because of staffing. Putting themselves the service users and others at risk. HOS that is bullying staff and speaking to them in a disgusting way but this is just brushed of as that her way. Having to document the way the HOS service speaks to people so that when I have eventually had enough I have enough evidence. I am not the only one who is doing this either. Houses asked to report on things in several different documents for different people because they are too lazy to use the documents in place, which wastes the homes and the home managers time. The back office staff are not supported in anyway, have worked throughout the pandemic with no meaningful recognition and for little pay.

Meet people from different walks of life.

Cons

The management are appalling. Keep staff out of the loop. No idea what's going on. You learn alot about a company in hard times and you learn they do not value staff. Redeployment of staff against there wishes The company is a private company and all they are fixated are is money. They pay good working staff peanuts. No care in caretech we are missing the ££ sign as that's all they think about, how to con comissionors and families for bad quality care. Staff are overworked and tired.
