Pros

The work you do contributes to helping people who need it. Good benefits. There are some really great people who care about the work they do.

Cons

I had a lot of hope for this company when I first started. It's sad to not feel the same way anymore. The culture has gotten to a point of toxic positivity. It's better to say nothing than speak your honest mind. There's a big gap between managers salaries and their subordinates. Some people get regular raises and bonuses when others have never even seen a raises. Managers say to give ideas for progress, but none are ever taken into consideration. After a while, you begin to give up on wanting to make the team better.

Working with families who need support while caring for a loved one.

Cons

In the beginning you are part of a family, you are valued, your uniqueness is celebrated. In reality, they take advantage of who you are and the love you have for what you do. If you don't say yes, then say nothing. It turned into a petty, competitive, out of balance, inauthentic work environment that created a toxic company culture.

Great, flexible work from anywhere culture. Team-oriented collaboration with a great company mission.

Cons

They have a track record of blindsiding people by laying them off without any warning. They're so focused on making the workplace "loopy" and fun that the managers avoid criticism, they just eliminate you. They scaled during the pandemic and hired based on that growth. When growth slowed they laid of 12 of their employees including 3 of their c-suite. What culture is left? Mission driven employees that are walking on eggshells.
