Pros

Conservative, so they are closed on Sundays.

Cons

Low pay, terrible benefits, will keep you on as a "temp" to avoid paying you as a full-time employee. VERY limited PTO, I think I was able to accrue 7 days in a year and they did not roll over. Very outdated software and policies. Team is resistant to change. Sales team is the only cared and compensated team, office staff and installer are mistreated, over worked, and forgotten about.

Pros

They offer medical benefits. There are so many wonderful customers. The quality of the products sold are very good, though pricey.

Cons

Salary on a draw, which means that during season when you are earning commissions you get paid for them. When business slows down, the commissions you earned are getting deducted from your salary for lack of commissions during slow times out of "season." Commissions are based on the owner figured net profit. If a job goes badly, you lose your commission, no matter who's fault it is. If your customer is a friend of the family, you work twice as hard to service them, but end up with no commission because the % falls below a percentage of net profit to earn a commission. Forced to work holidays when no one comes in to buy floor covering. But you are not getting paid OT, so the owners don't care. Mandatory early morning meetings, for which you do not get paid OT. Cleaning chores of the showroom, because unlike most businesses, they do not have a cleaning service...its sales responsibility in their dress clothes. It's a revolving door of employees in every department due to the lack of consideration and respect for their hard working employees. Nearly everyone who works there, just gets fed up and storms out one day.
