      A horrible and miserable company

      Pros

      None particularly if you want to earn some money, but if sitting around for two or three days waiting on a load then by all means go ahead!

      Cons

      The entire operating premise is a flawed scam! The company has no interest at all in the profitability of its drivers. They do not have any contracts and so a steady revenue stream is not possible. So why would anyone give away 20% to a unprofessional dispatcher!? Please don't believe the hype and you will see when at orientation a steady stream of drivers returning their equipment. Please son don't waste your time and money!

      Pros

      Great company I really don't want to leave I like it here I really enjoy running the flatbed and it's a decent pay

      Cons

      The disadvantage is Carrier one should really invest and finding another truck leasing dealership with my experience ever since I started the equipment has had nothing but problems impel has some safety issues some of which really concern me like an exhaust leak that was coming in my truck the first week I got it

      Pros

      80% pay is good, but you have no idea what the actual linehaul is that is billed by Carrier one or collected for.

      Cons

      You are never told what the true linehaul is. They take their 20% on everything from fuel, tarping, etc.... They promise you additional revenue for additional services but you are never paid for it. Dispatch is very hard to reach after hours and non existent over the weekend. If you break down, your stuck until Monday morning at 8:00 a.m. All their planners are in Macedonia and do not know the United States very well. Revolving door with dispatchers. DO NOT lease a truck from Impel !!! They will charge you for over priced parts and service and if you ever leave, forget about your last pay check. You will not receive it.
