      Great working environment

      Pros

      Great coworkers, laid back environment, new adventures every day, ability for community engagement, flexible schedule

      Cons

      The upper management is disconnected from the branch's, disorganized upper leadership, high job turnover, surrounding counties have higher pay, extra responsibility as a passport agent without a pay increase(only 2 branches do passports), when it's a slow day it is excruciating.

      Great place to work with flexible scheduling! Really good work environment and great coworkers and support from management.

      Cons

      No cons! Working with the public can be rough sometimes of course but I have no complaints.

      Pros

      People who work here really care about making a difference in the community! At least in my current department, colleagues are very supportive and fun to work with, making for excellent teamwork. Good health insurance, nice vacation and sick time accruals.

      Cons

      Part-time salaried staff do not get paid holidays like full-time salaried staff which means when there is a holiday you must work other hours or use vacation time. Most positions have little to no possibility for growth and salaries are not better than average for libraries.
