Pros

Very nice gym Bodega that sells snacks and drinks Those who are actually doing all of the work are great people and hard workers

Cons

Leadership feels like a performance, no real action CEO acts like a cult leader, and the rest of the leadership are drinking the Kool Aid. Also very out-of-touch and has a history of scheduling all staff meetings only to say pointless or even downright offensive things (ex: telling his staff that we don’t exercise enough) A mess of miscommunication between departments Unrealistic expectations from out-of-touch leadership New promotion/pay structure is confusing and silly

Pros

Very nice building, standing desks, large windows, amazing gym

Cons

Where do I start. Horrible management, unreasonable hours (sometimes 90+ a week), would get emails and teams message at 10:00 PM to have a new project done by 8:00 AM the next day, fear based culture, feels as if you make one mistakes you will be fired on the spot, no communication on what’s expected of you and when your year end review comes along you will be blindsided, upper level management is very rude and demeaning of everyone below them, new CEO and executive members are pushing out people who have been at the company for decades to make room for their friends who they want to work with, no clear guidance or training, horrible pay for industry, CEO and President have no idea what’s going on, new CFO is amazing he is the only person on the executive team who cares about people other than himself, will fire people randomly, you will come in to work one day and be told your manager got fired and to figure stuff out yourself, no clear promotions, some teams have the same people get promotions and raises multiple times throughout the year while others don’t get any raises, really depends on who your manager is and if they care about you or not because if they don’t then the executives will abuse their power and make you work on anything and everything, SA allegations lawsuit is horrible and everyone is acting like it didn’t happen or that it’s not a big deal because people are scared they will get in trouble, partner offices walk all over us Carson group and can get whatever they want, the partner offices have way better pay, benefits, lifestyle, there are so many more issues to list as well but these are just a couple.

Pros

Building has tons of natural light and you don’t feel caged in like some offices with high cubicles.

Cons

Absolutely everything else. Burt White has literally put in writing that he hates what Carson stands for and that he made a mistake accepting his position, which further proves people’s point that he’s fake and gives nothing but lip service. People who get promoted are often given those raises because they’re close friends with someone on the executive team, and painfully showcase how inept and lazy they are. The amount of stolen PTO from at least two managers is insane. Directors look away. All the perks that made Carson great when I started are long gone. Pretty sure they’re gunning hard to go public, so everyone who’d been loyal for years/decades are suffering the fallout. Layoffs, pay cuts, perks gone, and hiring/promotion freezes (unless you’re right with an exec), etc… In addition to all that, they have a sexual harassment and termination discrimination lawsuit on their hands. That alone should tell you what kind of company this is now.
