      Pros

      I have driven for many companies both OTR and local but I have never had one that truly cares about their employees like Carter. They treat you like family here. Decent pay and benefits for the industry. Great home time too. It is more out and back runs. You are not gone weeks/months at a time.

      Cons

      It is true that the dedicated stuff goes fast but even the newest driver gets great miles.

      I've been at Carter since February of this year (2018) I've drove for other companies but Carter is the best company I've drove for. I drive out of Paragould,AR. I have no complaints. I get miles and I get home every week. I've been treated with respect. Marla and Bill, (Paragould terminal) are the best. Love this company.

      I liked my manager.....at first.

      Where do I begin? How about with the lack of training even tho I asked. The driver's pay is horrible and the schedule is worse. As a recruiter, I hated working from home and never felt like I was part of the team.
