Pros

Only parties are good. This company doesn't have any good pros to mention

Cons

Working 14 hrs a day.Extremely less package as compared to total money made by firm.Poorest work life balance.Associate would want us to not go to room for sleep too.Even girls are asked to stay back till late nights if work is delayed. Work is getting added but managers are not ready to hire new team member.Such a miser authority.Analyst are treated as slaves by Senior analysts, Associates and Manager.Lots of politics.Personal Comments and Insults are made if you make mistakes or take leave. You can be thrown out of the team if you don't perform well.Weirdest part is you would be kept on PIP by the people on notice period who does should not be taking part in any decisions. Even if any health emergency comes up for which you have to take leave you will be thrown out.Very high attrition rate. Though it is an Analytics firm,it has work of only engineers.Highly not recommended for the people from specialised statistics field. New and innovative ideas are discarded by your seniors along with insulting remarks shown as their advice to you in a very sarcastic manner. Very less scope to grow for such people. Senior Analysts just do the simplest logistic regression and avoid do other advance statistical analysis. This is how people here fool their clients.Lots of work expections from the Analyst at extremely less package.Team member directly insults on the face if any thing is delayed... Highly recommend people NOT to join this company unless they want to spoil their own career and lead a dull monotonous life .Will leave this company soon.

Phew. This is the harshest review I've come across of Cartesian - to the point it almost seems a spoof review. But let's assume you've really had such a terrible experience here - well I'm sorry it's been so bad, and I hope you get to work at places that are better for you in the future! - SM

Pros

Young company, average age is very less compared to other companies Friendly colleagues to work with Modest pay Excellent senior management Cool Managing Director

Cons

Doesn't matter what work you do as long as your egoistic manager likes you. Boring work, normal reporting and campaigns. No creative or innovative work as such. Overuse of resources. Clients know that you work for them only whereas actually you work for more clients as well. Inexperienced managers who have no idea how to lead or handle teams. No work life balance. They don't expect you to have life outside work. Negative atmosphere. Pathetic training facilities (nothing is there). Bad infrastructure.

Hi, a point-by-point rebuttal would just not be fair or useful, but I really feel you've not gotten the right exposure to the work or culture we're proud of. But you should know that it exists! So here's what - talk to me, or someone senior in your location. Ask for exposure to a different Cartesian, and I'll make sure you see it. And, in parallel, we'll try to ensure it (the wonderful Cartesian) is not unevenly spread in pockets but across the board. Sounds fair? Do your bit now - say this out loud! - SM

Pros

Very good work-life balance.

Cons

1. Not good for analysts who believe in extreme experimentation. 2. No earned leave for starting 1 year.
