      You help people in the community

      Management is awful, it's like a "family" but we all know what that means. Sounds like it's gone downhill as well since I left, and all the amazing people that made it worth working there have moved on. These people have been at Carya for 10+ years and just left.

      The relationships I built at carya are incredible. They are great at supporting staff to shine, bring their own umph to the projects and work They have great benefits, and salaries for the most part are great

      Cons

      The reason I say "feels like family" is because they are great at ensuring everyone feels belonging and are supported....in their position. I don't see much opportunity for growth or an attempt to see what employees can offer beyond their job description.

      Great work environment, great people, good salary levels, good benefits.

      Cons

      Lots of turnover in the last couple of years - and as always - your supervisor is a big influence on your experience.
