Management seems unaware of issues regarding departments beneath them and don't seem to care when they're brought to their attention. One of my coworkers who became a friend of mine during our shared tenure was put through hell by multiple of our coworkers and had to report this to management multiple times and ultimately nothing was done. Very clear favoritism for anyone with even slightly more seniority in the company. My specific job revolved around the care of dangerous and/or unpredictable dogs, and any precautions me and my team took for safety reasons were scrutinized heavily for their impact on time and profit margins, even though multiple of us have been injured on the job. Boss claimed to be appreciative of everything I do - up to and including the additional volunteering I did no questions asked for other departments, working holidays, coming in on my days off, and generally doing everything possible in my power to help out everyone I could - then cruelly fired me out of the blue for a reason she refused to disclose to me. I had never been warned or written up for anything at all during my time working here, and I have never had any incidences with any of my coworkers that could have even uncharitably been construed as negative. I communicated openly and kindly with everyone regardless of whether I personally liked them or not because professionalism is deeply important to me. The manner in which my time at this company abruptly ended was deeply and wholly unprofessional and I am still at a complete loss as to why this happened. Don't work here if you're not prepared to put everything you possibly can into doing your job, only to be canned for no reason. So deeply disappointing from a company that I loved and respected as much as I did.

Doing everyone’s job, being the only one to actually show up and work, everyone being so closed with each other they talk about you behind your back and if you call out sick they treat you like you don’t do anything.
