Pros

End to end ownership of the projects you work on

Cons

The quality of your peers is bad. It's mostly inexperienced folks from tier1/2 institutions. More experienced folks have already left as they realised this place isn't worth wasting their time.. There are not many tasks where you actually need to use your brain. Mostly the work as an IC involves managing buggy legacy code with current feature tasks. Apart from some pet projects which you can try to generalize as a platform offering, mostly you'll be writing CRUD APIs and responding to oncalls. If you're from a service based company this might be a step up for you.. if you have worked on product based companies this is a big step down. Tech leadership actually is not very good at tech but is good at politics. The company itself is very sales driven.. just build MVP and market it so that net revenue increases, no one except you cares about the quality of tech being outputted. If you get satisfaction from doing good work, then you will become depressed here. If you have a strong resume, your tenure at cashfree will weaken your resume.

Pros

Good product & operations teams

Cons

1. People do not listen to you! Reporting manager only wants numbers to be achieved even if it means forcing the staff to stay back. 2. They have 4 team leads, 1 assistant manager, 2 senior managers, 1 associate director, 1 sr. director & 1 VP along with 2 in QA for a team of 17 customer success agents. This has to tell you how unwanted the top management is and how frustrating it would be for an agent. 3. The team has been operating for almost 6 years and they do not have any process documents in place. Quality team says you should know what to do! 4. They do not have any training plans in place. 5. Free advice and mechanic stories from the Sr. Director every week. My only request to everyone is, please do not join this team!

Pros

RBI License received, so might get acquired in a worst-case scenario, though things continue to bleak.

Cons

No longer feels like a productive workplace. No communication on company business outlook and revenue, etc. We employees as part of the company, have right to know where we are headed. Our BU leaders and one downs themselves are under motivated. See zero positive energy all around. Just water cooler conversations and negativity. Lot of disparity in level vs comp. HR is in no mood to course correct. A new leader who might not be invested to correct these quickly. Laughable initiatives in name of employee engagement. Please stop this comedy on the floor!
