Management is a joke and not helpful at all
Sales is all they care about, rather than integrity and guest experience. At the end of every single day they send out an email showing everyone's sales for the day, creating a super competitive work environment
NO teamwork. Very much every man out for himself
The employees who have consistently good sales get them by doing shady things, like lying to customers, pressuring them into buying wine, fabricating things to make them sound better than they actually are, and I've even seen employees mix wines together to trick customers into buying expensive wine
Employees do gimmicky, trashy things to get tips
Bussers steal tips off of servers tables
If you aren't top in sales, you are put in an unfavorable area to serve wine, only the best sales people are able to pour wine in the main bar downstairs
They profile guests, and send who they think are the "big spenders" to the main area downstairs to get swindled by the wine servers down there, and tourists who they think aren't going to buy are sent to the more undesirable areas
This place is all about greed, that's the bottom line.
