Pros

Discount can be used at Catherine's and all of the Ascena brand stores; I got to know a lot of my customers and built friendships.

Cons

Not enough hours, pay is terrible. Having to push credit cards and perks is just horrible when your clientele is mostly loyal and ALREADY has the perks and cards. Then you get in trouble from management for not getting enough each week. There is no decent reward system other than the points system....you have to have a certain amount of credits and perks to earn points, and points get you gifts such as gift cards, etc...which the company ends up TAXING you on at the end of the year. So, the reward is actually something you PAID for and is therefore not an incentive at all.

Pros

Making plus-size women feel beautiful and confident Interacting with some of the customers

Cons

EVERYTHING is a priority Too much pressure on getting credits & perks CONVERSION should be removed. No matter how well you do, it's NEVER enough Corporate, marketing & POS screw up all the time, but the company expects you to be 100% ALL the time The company expects you to behave like a used car salesman, which takes the fun out of the job The clothing is too expensive for what you're getting Payroll sucks, which leaves management alone a lot and we're still expected to achieve goals along with all the million other things required

Pros

They will hire anyone with or without experience. You can get a full time position with little experience and knowledge. The customer suffers but costs are kept low because they don't pay to get good, experienced mgmt staff.

Cons

The district mgmt and above is riddled with incompetent staff. The mgrs, assist mgrs and sales leads are work horses for the districts. The pay is consistently low across the board.
