I wasn't planning on writing this review, and telling something bad about anyone or anything doesn't please me, but I feel strongly I have to do it.
My brief experience working at CMA Orthopedics as a patient services representative was quite awefull and troubling and I want people to know it.
The office is run very poorly, the whole management is based on intimidation, humiliation, and fear. This is what I have experienced, and it wasn't anything personal. I have witnessed other newly hired PSR crying after being subjected to brutal remarks in front of patients she was trying to work with.
Couple times, inadvertently, I overheard our manager in heated altercations with medical staff, when she was hissing "I know how to do my job!"
I have witnessed many patients being treated without essential paperwork signed, and, when I tried to do something about it, I was yelled at (there is no saying there, just yelling) that I had to stop doing it. I definitely didn't fit in.
I was shocked to see many negative remarks in the office's performance review by patients, and, yet, I was told by a long term employee that it was "the best we ever got".
There are couple very nice people there, but unfortunately they don't make any difference (and one of them is leaving). Overall, it is quite uncivilized place where it is not very common to hear "hi" or "good morning", and I was let go in the same disgraceful way I was treated all along, without any acknowledgement of my hard work.
Glad to be out! This experience will help me appreciate normalcy!
