I joined Cedargate based on fake job descriptions provided by HR, which mentioned working with Hadoop, Elasticsearch, and other big data technologies. However, after joining, the reality turned out to be terrible.
The company doesn't value its employees — whether you're alive or sick, it makes no difference. The work done by the data team is of such poor quality that you're constantly under immense pressure to complete tasks. The work environment is extremely toxic, with unclear and ever-changing demands. People randomly come and say, “Finish the work fast, fast,” without giving proper instructions or support.
If you resign today, no one cares. If you're unwell, no one cares — you're expected to do your work no matter what. It's a highly unhealthy environment with toxic people. Managers behave like ghosts — they only appear to dump unnecessary pressure on you.
People in the data team often work late into the night, sometimes until 11 p.m. or even 1 a.m., just to meet unrealistic deadlines — yet there’s no growth. You will be working like donkey like they dont have any other life. Employees often quit within a month or three months, sometimes even without another job lined up, just to escape the unbearable pressure. The upper management directly make you to do resign by harrashing on small matters.
