Pros

None that I can think of.

Cons

Not a very good place to work. Extremely racist. Favortism/clickish. Mid level and upper level management treat the dsl's like slaves, they continue to pile more and more work on top of dsp's and they don't want to pay them a decent wage. They have a very high turnover rate for this reason as well as the way management talks to and treats them. If you speak up for your self you are considered a non team player and will end up with a target on your back, and don't even think about going to HR about the issue, they are just going to take management side and find a way to get rid of you by hook or crook. They are not a fair company. They sit up and create jobs and give promotions to their favorite staff with no degree in sight. The higher ups act like they are better than the dsp's. And now dsp's have to go above and beyond the call of duty just to earn a bonus at the end of the year as if they haven't done enough already to get some sort of bonus. It's all about money with cedar lake. It's a well known fact how much money upper management makes while dsp's make $10.00 an hour with much more to do. I would never recommend this company to my worst enemy let alone someone that I love.

Pros

The people receiving services are literally the only pros of the job, and of the company.

Cons

This company is a total joke. The CEO is immature, inaccessible, fake, and a liar. He is too busy trying to find pretty people to take selfies with than running a company. Nepotism is off the charts. Human Resources is non responsive, unless they are threatening someone. If you report abuse, you are reprimanded because you did not cover it up. Medication errors are covered up by the nurse repeatedly. Incidents are not reported to save investigations. This agency is a joke.

Pros

The benefits are decent. The individuals served are really the only positive aspect of this company.

Cons

All aspects of management- I cannot muster any positive words to describe them. HR is not effective, and they are not accessible. Retaliation is rampant. If you advocate for yourself or residents, well, then sadly, your days are numbered. You are expected to turn a blind eye and take the crap passed down by management. Don't expect any level of acknowledgement or appreciation. There is continual and blatant favoritism. Many jobs have been created for favorites, and many filled without being posted. They are filled by people who are woefully inadequate, just because they will kiss up or throw others under the bus. Management CANNOT be trusted, nor can HR. I WOULDN'T work for this company in the future, nor would I ever want a loved one to receive services from there.
