Pros

Good travel perks but hard to confirm

Cons

Honestly some of the worst leaders I have ever worked with. I don't recommend working here - you won't learn or grow.

Cons

I am going to start with where I am now. I own a few small businesses and would not change trade them for the world. I love going to work. That begin said, I worked at RCCL/Celebrity for 2 years. The first 9 months no complaints, I was given an overall great review by management won an award on the sales annual cruise. At my first review I was given an Excellent rating and in comparing notes with other team members received a higher annual raise. About 2 weeks after that review I was marched in an office and told that I was being given an HR warning. I knew what this meant I messed up somewhere big, when pushed for specifics I was given a few emails in which I had grammatical errors (not my strong suit, if you can tell). I was to be put on a 3-month probation. To say this scared me was an understatement. After that, I wrote very few emails, I had to walk into people’s office to ask them simple questions but that is CYA. Clearly, I felt I had done something and was in the wrong job but if I stick it out for 3-5 months I can switch departments. 3 Months go by, nothing major, I was marched into an office told that I had improved but needed an additional 3 months of probation to prove that I am okay. At this point, I still had not met with anyone from HR and to say I was angry was an understatement just with the director of my department. I was looking at the HR portal for the last few weeks to see what jobs I could possibly switch into. 57 days later my last probation was about expire, I met with HR for the first time during this whole experience, I was marched into an office and told I was let go. I had finally messed up on an email or something, I did not even ask. Furthermore at 3pm I was told my benefits would expire at midnight the next day. I feel I was treated poorly by Celebrity. I have emails to back up everything I said. Also, the people who were being pushed to management had somehow gotten wind of situation and made jokes to me and other team mates like hope you don’t make a mistake. To this day, I still have no idea what I did. I only write this because I recently visited Miami and I just felt anger, I hoped by telling my story others may not be made to suffer in the future.
