A good company with a bad boss

Business outlook

Pros

Brilliant colleagues, Flexible work environment, lots of learning opportunities, multiple technologies, top-most management is good.

Cons

Manager is incompetent - This organisation has capability to grow if they change their managers. Always ready to take credit of other's work. Typically biased and keeps demotivating in the name of constructive feedback. Can't even differentiate people on the basis of their skill-sets and then assign tasks accordingly. Negligent admin staff - You have to fight for each & everything which is an exhausting process. Procuring a working IT hardware takes ages. Admin team needs are overhaul too. No channel for two sided feedback - There should be an open channel for managers feedback.

Pros

Nothing good as of now

Cons

1. Limited Growth for Existing Employees: The company is heavily focused on AI, leaving little to no growth opportunities for employees working on legacy technologies. 2. Indirect Workforce Reduction: Existing team members are being phased out indirectly to make way for new AI hires, regardless of their performance or contributions. 3. Poor Job Security: Even employees with 5+ years of tenure are being terminated with just 1 month notice, showing little regard for loyalty or experience. 4. Ineffective HR Support: HR exists in name only and provides minimal support or advocacy for employees during organizational changes. 5. Mandatory 5-Day Office Policy: Strict work-from-client location requirement (5 days/week) with no flexibility

Glorified Sweat shop (ODCs)

Recommend
CEO approval
Business outlook

Pros

- Used to be technology focus, product development company - Had friendly employee policies in the past, now all that is gone

Cons

- Now directionless, glorified sweat shop/body shopper in the form of ODCs - off-shore development center - Hopeless support staff like HR/Finance, nothing gets done unless you escalate matters to the CEO - No focus on business development, willing to take-up any type of work - Absolutely zero focus on skill/career development of employees
