Pros

Due to the small amount of employees, responsibilities can be very broad which allows for a good amount of freedom.

Cons

Since the company develops telescopes, there are many days where you work from morning till midnight without any comp hours. Management appreciates tenure over talent. Executives promises its employees rewards for meeting goals, but fail to fulfill them.

Pros

Great product line! Many nice and smart people to work with.

Cons

Execs are out of touch with reality. Harassment, bullying, womanizing and micro management went out of style a long time ago. Keep your mouth shut or pay the consequences. They say they want thinkers, but really they just want robots.

Pros

Fair pay and are willing to work with employees with special needs or quests. Celestron also offers a decent benefits package.

Cons

Most people retained the same positions for over a long periods of time or are moved around the company laterally rather than upward. It is also difficult to get noticed for merits.
