Pros

there are zero pro's of Cellcom since 2021

Cons

This company has lost it's way. When I first was approached to work at Cellcom over 7 years ago they were such a great company, family friendly, small town feel, everyone knew your name and who you were, you never felt small or insignificant. Over the last 3 years there has been a substantial shift, you became irrelevant and insignificant, replaceable (yet they were never able to replace anyone, took 6+ months to fill basic level positions) so where that thought process was birthed I have no idea. You became a number, your voice box was cut out, out of the box thinking was no longer celebrated and rewarded, but rather disciplined. In order to succeed at Cellcom you have to be the "yes man/woman" DO NOT disagree with anyone, do not offer alternative thought processes or suggestions. I left when I saw the signs, many of us in management did, unfortunately there were a few that stayed and remained loyal to the company they loved and dedicated their best selves to only to be met with position terminations with zero notice. When I was there I experienced no notice store closures, no notice terminations due to position cuts, no notice pay/commission decrease, severance packages that there were LAUGHABLE offered to associates who had dedicated 10+ years of their lives to this company not to mention fear instilled into these individuals to NEVER communicate their severance package details, to NEVER TALK POORLY about their employer who spit in their face and turned their backs on them. They promoted those who did not deserve it that showed every reason why they didn't deserve a promotion, they protected those that did nothing but abuse the system, and forgot about those who showed up every day to work, who performed, who were reliable, and those who truly cared and wanted to help a company progress forward. The COE once communicated if you aren't on board with the changes and the company get off the boat. Upper management calls you and says the store you've been at the last 2+ years is no longer your home, you're moving to another store (with ZERO NOTICE) and then when asked how you feel about that, tells you well maybe you should find a new place to work. This company has become the punch line to jokes. A company once viewed as a pillar in our community is now a joke. I am glad I demoted myself to a customer, and frankly I will be demoting myself further, I will not be their customer, I will no longer support a company that treats their employees like trash - if they are willing to treat their employees like insignificant cockroaches imagine how they'll treat their customers...They recently told us we were the "heartbeat" of the company, well they're flatlining. Cellcom my advice to you is either do better or sell to someone else who will. You're a company that only cares about it's reputation and how you'll look to the general public, well guess what - I left voluntarily therefore your severance package verbiage you're pushing on everyone else does not apply to me - I have zero intent of allowing you to censor me.

Pros

Generous PTO plan Employee phone program (although your phone service will likely be awful)

Cons

Upper management is a mess and the CEO Brighid seems to be quite clueless on how to run a business and is more focused on radiating love than fixing the network that is causing customers to port out, they did a pay restructure for management and rolled it out with a smile on their faces on what a good thing it would be for management (easier to get a loan, better taxes) as if everyone couldn’t do the math that it was paying them less year over year - as if anyone’s merit increases ever allowed them to make more year over year anyway. This company has turned into a dumpster fire at best and has made no efforts to fix what they have ruined, this used to be a company that had true values and the management changes have left staff with no morale or fulfillment

Pros

High 401k match. Lots of PTO.

Cons

Nepotism and favoratism ran unchecked. It's hard to sell a low quality product. Zero faith in their ability to adapt as their boomer customer base fades away. Young people do not shop here. Hard to advance. No job security.
