Pros

Paid well. Excellent healthcare benefits

Cons

Don't walk, RUN from this company. Raised over $80 million and has no revenue to show for it. Laid off almost the entire company b/c of their gross mismanagement of funds and had nothing left. Prematurely launched products that were not at all ready for market and would not LISTEN to what was needed or invest in what was needed. Instead, would try to start another product. Is it a genetic testing company? A software company? A drug discovery company? Always running in different directions and wasting $. Classic example of an amateur CEO that could not stick with a plan and lead it to completion. Lots of great marketing but nothing behind the curtains. Whoever wrote the glowing review of the C suite was either someone from the C suite themselves or literally insane. The C suite was a revolving door and could never get anything done. The CEO is a materialistic, nouveau riche, narcissist that would often cry during meetings and hold company wide meetings to project her personal political beliefs. The one thing you can ALWAYS count on is that the CEO is late to every meeting (not talking about 5 minutes... more like a minimum of 30 min, sometimes hours). The company started with the right intentions but went down in flames due to inept leadership.

Pros

Well stocked break room which includes free alcohol.

Cons

Lies, deception, manipulation. Repeat. Very amateur. Moving up in this company is a breeze; all you need to do is bob your head and don't criticize or doubt what they "do". They lie to journalists, officials, employees... They preach one thing but do vicious and wrong things on so many levels.

a sadly mediocre "startup"

Pros

1. The high purpose of solving women health issues; 2. People are close to each other, going out for lunch together; 3. Work-life balance is ok 4. The kitchen had lots of good stuff, including alcohol 5. Health insurance is pretty good. 6. Challenging work and new stuff to learn 7. CEO is charming at first glance

Cons

1. But cannot fulfill the high purpose because of lack of expertise; 2. But there was drama in high management and lots of C-level people left; 3. But there were people who did not really work while getting checks; 4. But the kitchen sink was gross; 5. But lacking other benefits; 6. But the projects are ever-changing; 7. But it turned out the CEO does not know how to run a company correctly; instead, the CEO enjoyed too much the spotlight from media and the feeling of being one of the woman leaders in the healthcare industry. The CEO probably showed up more in conferences than in the office. Everything combined, a mediocre healthcare company that trys to be innovative but cannot get itself onto the right track. And it's already past the prime.
