Pros

Long hours, overtime rarely expected Might be a good launching pad for the very young

Cons

Low pay, demoralizing culture that's driven from the top, inept leadership, high turnover...in essence, a snakepit in which only sycophants will succeed (except no one there will understand what the word sycophant means)

Pros

great work life balance if you are management. they do lots of activities to try to create team bonding. Small so you become friends with everyone very quickly. Since it is so small you get to be involved in many different fields which is great for learning new things. The digital and creative directors are great.

Cons

- Senior management is not up to date on digital media or current trends ( but they think they are) - overworked under paid - Lots of micromanagement for the account team - Lots of gossip and trash talking - One rude employee who gets away with whatever

Thank you for your review about Celtic Chicago. Your experience getting involved in many agency initiatives is shared by many here and we strive to provide an environment that fosters professional growth. At Celtic, we expect a lot of our professionals and have a clear career path whereby those who are successful are recognized with increasing responsibility and compensation. Our division managers strive to foster a sense of independence among account managers, working more closely with those new to their positions to ensure a good employee and client experience. We also work very hard to maintain an environment where people can bring issues to their managers or the CEO to keep lines of communications open. We wish you the best in your future career path.

Pros

Some of the staff is great to work with, hybrid environment. Small office space, fairly each location to commute to.

Cons

Not a good environment for growth. Employees let go unexpectedly. Management focuses primarily on profit, and quite a few pieces seem to be the owner's personal projects. Management is not focused on helping with your career, just their bottom line.
