      Good people, very questionable manangement

      Pros

      - your peers are deadicated and talented - benefits are OK given current government health insurance problems - company events are good, but not as great as they used to be!

      Cons

      - salary is getting ridiculous, no raises for anyone, reviews end up being condesending - in past 4 months people are leaving in upper manangment (one of the first employees from 1990s just left), agile practice (lulz), sales (leader comes into sales meetings with clients when "your not handling it well" and blows up the client, ticks everyone off, and people all over milwaukee and chicago know about it, competitors laughing) - really wierd, personal private information (divorce news, dateing status, crushes) come out of leaders at full company events, everyone uncomfortable especially spouses) - leader has hot head, can't handle pressure, blows up at people and places blame

      Pros

      I've been an employee at Centare for about 3-4 years. I came in as senior developer and felt the compensation was adequate and have since received raises every year. I've worked for a lot of different companies and never had the flexibility, freedom, transparency that Centare provides. They also put a emphasis on work-life balance and don't demand long work hours. The senior management hasn't been great in the last couple years, but recently a new President and CEO have been appointed and changes are in the works.

      Cons

      Compared to some of the other places I've worked at there is nothing negative about Centare.

      Pros

      -Tons of latitude to work how and where you want! -Very transparent organization (with both good and bad news). -They care about everyone in the company! (Even willing to get rid of bad apples!) -Always improving!

      Cons

      -Old company dynamics creates confusion sometimes -New financial discipline hard for some to handle
