Cons

I worked here as a Behavioral Health Technician for a short time. My experience was that policies—especially around attendance and scheduling—were applied very strictly and not always clearly explained. During my employment, I had a medical emergency during a shift and went to the ER. I stayed past my scheduled end time to ensure coverage and later provided documentation. After that, several of my shifts were canceled due to “low census,” and I wasn’t able to pick up additional shifts. I was eventually terminated and told it was related to leaving during a shift. I understand every workplace has policies, but I would encourage management to communicate expectations more clearly and apply scheduling practices consistently. For anyone considering working here, it may be helpful to ask detailed questions about attendance policies, coverage expectations, and how shifts are adjusted when census is low.
