Thank you for taking the time to share some feedback. We regret the way you have chosen to refer to your past colleagues. There was nothing robotic about the hard work of our growing team over the past 6 years, as we took our company from nothing to #34 on the Inc 500. Additionally, our team members based in other countries are actually some of our longest tenured colleagues and have proven themselves repeatedly on several large client engagements over the years. Our own website is an example of the quality of their work. Our list of investments in growing our business this year alone already includes such items as doubling our New York Office size, growing our global team, significantly increasing marketing, developing proprietary technology and expanding internationally. All of these initiatives will create career growth opportunities for our team. Our careers page highlight other elements of our culture, such as weekly all hands, catered health conscious lunches, quarterly get-togethers, etc. While the pains of a rapidly growing company takes away from the interaction time with everyone that we once enjoyed, we continue to look for ways to get regular direct feedback from our team. We are grateful to our team and we are actively looking for more ambitious people to continue on this demanding and rewarding journey of building a business with us. We are deeply committed to building the right culture for our business and our team, and we are happy to offer those that are interested in learning more, to visit our office and get a first hand view of our business, office and culture.

Pros

Highly intelligent employees that making working here exciting and entertaining. Ability to work from home. Sizable bonus potential.

Cons

Ultimately I've decided to leave because there was no upward mobility for women. Take a look at executive page. For small group of women that are against the grain, none of us received salary increases whereas men did. The fight was continual and the struggle was REAL. Once, in a meeting with two men, the CEO would only make eye contact with the men in the room, even though a woman was leading. It was a really cold, awkward and inhuman work environment and most disappointingly, HR serves only to put you down, daily. Big brother has nothing on centric digital. All desks have cameras overheard, and ALL internal communication and chats are read. Even private... Even off the record. Everyone is scared and resort to whispers in the kitchen and bathroom where HR purposely comes to break it up. We were once told that groups of three talking were not acceptable and would be broken up. I can't make this up. Another previous employee got called in for vocalizing in a private conversation that she was not happy. Others have had panic attacks, forced to work insane hours to meet made up deadlines- just to test how they handle the pressure. For what? I can't believe I haven't even gotten to management. All the exco are socially awkward. There's exceptionally high turnover, aside from one team with a stellar and personable boss. All suggestions and initiatives for culture and gender equality were shot down. It's all about profits and being billable. Everyone is a rusty cog in the wheel of manning. Dubbed the castle of psychosis, where hand driers are placed on the ceiling and fruit is forbidden, (the benefit of) plates and silverware are threatened to be taken away upon seeing a dirty dish in the sink and only color coordinated chocolate is allowed. There's no board or accountability for their unjust actions, empathy is non-existent and employees are disposable.

Pros

None. Not even the bathrooms are passible as decent.

Cons

This was by far the most depressing and messed up workplace that I have ever seen. The despondency was pervasive save the handful of managers who decided to trade in any self-respect they may or may not have had prior to joining this organization to do trifling tasks for clients who often berated them while they kept the smile and their YES man, ma'm attitude intact. Anyone who tells you they believe the company's vision is either deceitful or lobotomized as there is clearly no cohesive vision represented in bd or work product. High turnover was shocking at first and then became a point of jealousy, everyone wants out. Anyone worth working with (to learn form or just a good person to be around) has left the company.
