Pros

All out in general, Ceres has excellent benefits and perks. Ok ish insurance and structure role.

Cons

I'll be honest, I have a great team. But favoritism gets you further than knowledge. I've held multiple positions in the LP division. I am skilled but It's been made very clear that I'm capped off with advancement opportunity. Not to mention my admin team think of themselves as my boss by Informing me of my capabilities while being clueless of the job and how situations change. (Here's a hint, 1 leak check may take 30 min. Next may take 3 hours....)

Pros

They refund boots up to $80. I've met the CEO of Ceres a few times and he honestly seems very genuine and upfront. My project manager has been for the most part pretty straight foward with me and is usually a very solid guy to work for.

Cons

Ceres bought out the small family business that I have been working for, the previous owner wanted to retire. At first it seemed like a great opportunity to work for a new company. They have been slowly taking away all the perks of the job. The other guys get a cooked lunch everyday, being a driver I'm often not around to get lunch. So the previous company always refunded me for lunch. That was one of the reasons I took the job. When Ceres took over that perk went away. I make the same money as the other guys but they get free lunch everyday. I drive an 18 wheeler and only get paid $18 an hour. They just hired a guy who already makes more then me. The payscale just isn't what it should be here. I drive a semi all day and they are trying to enforce a dress code (I wear khakis and a carhartt everyday) I'm in a truck with no AC all day. A dominos pizza chain is hiring in the next town over at $18-$24 an hour. It's no longer the laid back workplace that I enjoyed before. These are just a few of the issues that I've had so far with the company. Either way I always get the short end of the stick.
