Pros

-Most products are pretty nice -Decent amount of free product -Visually beautiful work environment

Cons

-Not inclusive AT ALL -Not open to hearing any feedback, constructive criticism -Management is terrified of smart people -No pathway to growth if you don't suck up -Good luck having any success if you're anything other than a pretty girl or male makeup artist -Catty cliques working under the guise of feminism -White gaze -Colonialists-and I mean that. All the charities they support in Africa are just the ones that belong to their rich white friends

Pros

Good location and nice office Good selection of products

Cons

Most of the positive reviews are from the sales associates. It is a family owned business. Even the unemployed son in law is in on it. Really an unprofessional company to work for. Spiteful people trying to get you in trouble and make it hard for you to work there. There have been full on arguments between people in the office. Management terminates the manager and hires the subordinate. Like someone here said, if you are part of the exclusive club, you're good. You're expected to work long hours and answer management.

Pros

Convenient neighborhood, well-equipped studio, lots of friendly workers.

Cons

I was offered a position here with their creative team with no interview, no meeting, no prior contact until one day, I was asked to start immediately. Upon arrival, I was introduced to no one, no tour, wasn’t told where the kitchen and bathroom was, no details on what I will be working on, no access codes/passwords to anything I needed for my job, nothing. The team provided very little feedback and very little work but seem to view it as the employee's fault. HR hired and had no idea what they're looking for and didn't lay out job responsibilities clearly. I was terminated without reason within 2 weeks. Fortunately, I didn't leave any belongings at the office because they flat out told me not to come in anymore. They were also unclear about the role. First, I was told it's a full time job, then after being hired, they dropped it immediately to only 24 hours a week. The office is in a nice location but the place felt very pretentious, cliquey, some people were so obviously fake, and it doesn't look like there's room to grow at all. I was left with a very poor first impression based on what happened. It's also a very open office; extremely crammed and distracting at every corner with absolutely no room to breathe. Good for contractors/freelancers that are ok with being terminated any time, not good for those who need stable work. IMO, it was not very professional.
