It’s a mixed bag. (Writing this review for continued GD access)
Pros
You will be pushed to lengths you didn’t know you could go. It’s not that they start off with crazy expectations, and they will give you plenty of kool aid to sip on at first. Between personality assessments to make you feel seen, office treats like coffee or Crumbl, and all the talk about the good works in which you get to help play a role. You will learn really fast, but every question is a burden of time and energy so you kind of have to in order to succeed.
Cons
The ambitions to grow this organization as any cost will become apparent as they move the goal line, refuse to support you, and gaslight you into the next dimension. Their personality assessment conducted before the interview is framed as a tool to check fit and as a foundational piece for better office communication, and they will sure talk about it often. It also has the duel purpose to serving as a means to excuse others poor behavior as just difference in their personality and to hone in on how to best manipulate you specifically. While they boast about being a nonprofit, this is just in the legal tax exempt definition, not any sort of colloquial understanding of doing good for any one. (Maybe this one was just me being naive)
