Pros

Great website that helps charity workers find better jobs. Lovely bunch of skilled employees that make the business. Close walk to Kingston Town centre with transport links for trains and buses.

Cons

A lot of talented people left the company in quick succession during my time there and staff morale was low. Management make business decisions based on how they feel rather than facts. The company has been going for 20 years but has not progressed with the times. Lack of integrity (see headline - clearly staff have been told to add positive reviews). Do not expect to be rewarded for a job well done and there is zero career progression.

Pros

Decent pay. Good pension if you last a year. Easy to cruise

Cons

This was such a toxic place to work. The distance of a few minutes was all it took to realise how bad the environment was. There is a core group of people who've done the same thing for the same company for a decade and they are the ones that are listened to. If the family likes you, you are a made (wo)man. If the family doesn't like you, there's nothing to be done. They were a small company that hustled and did well to become a medium company. With no change in leadership and listening only to the people who will echo their own words, they're spinning their wheels trying to make a medium company work with the tactics of a small company. And it's making them smaller. People are leaving. So, if you don't care about the quality of your work, you can cruise along and get paid. Join in with the talks about making things better knowing you'll never have to achieve any of them because nothing changes, because change is bad. They want different results, but don't want to change anything. They're that person eating a Big Mac and talking about how they're going to go to the gym. But tomorrow. Never today.

Thank you for taking the time to give such comprehensive feedback. It would have been really helpful to know your feelings when you were employed with us rather than after your employment came to an end. We would have loved the opportunity to improve our communications with you. More so because you were fully remote. As you know we pride ourselves in being transparent with employees and our customers and our success over the last 23 years, the vast majority of that time with the same senior management team, gives us comfort that we are not doing a bad job of it! We wish you a very Happy Christmas and a more fulfilling 2024 with your new employer.
