Pros

Cooperate, so lots of additional benefits at no charge. Up and up on latest and greatest.

Cons

Low pay, lots of work for salary, including Benefits. Managers work 50 hour work week. Affordable Housing is hard in the area.

Pros

Wonderful place to work with a great work environment. Phenomenal coworkers and management throughout the property that turns into a tight knit family. Gorgeous property that never gets old to take in.

Cons

Overall it’s been a great time working for Cheeca. The only thing I could say is for there to be a bit more of competitive pay as it is costly to live in paradise.

Pros

Cheeca Lodge and Spa is by far one of the best places I've ever worked. In my discipline, I've been fortunate enough to have worked all over the country from Miami, Dallas, Houston, Key West to name a few. The management team at Cheeca gives you the freedom to really use your talents to drive the overall success of the hotel. The General Manager does a great job of supporting you in your efforts. He ensures that the staff is engaged and is rewarded for success. He also encourages you to think outside the box to come up with creative ideas to ensure your success. The benefits package here is by far one of the best as well with a 0 copay insurance option available at a very reasonable price. You don't see very much of that in smaller hotel companies. Interview process was thorough and well managed with plenty of communication in the status of the process. I plan to be here a very long time.

Cons

The only con here is cost of living. Living in the keys can be expensive. There are cheaper options but you must commute in from the mainland.
