Pros

None at all, unless if you like toxic environment

Cons

1. Messy system after company acquisition 2. Every department is not willing to do the extra work or compromising. Sales need to do everything. Even simple deliveries Sales need to follow up untill the last day. 3. We were promised monthly comission, bur we have not been getting any for at least 8 months and no notification from management. 4. Sales team structure is overlapping especially after company acquisition. Too many headcounts and overlaps. 5. HR is so unprofessional and slow. 6. Compliance dont care about other depts other than themselves 7. OPD care only about covering their own a** and dont care about helping and communicating with customers 8. CS is so underworked. They only do quotations and tenders which is not all the time. Frequently we see them playing phones at the front of their screens 9. everything is about money. make our lives miserable even on weekends and long leaves.

Stagnation and work

Pros

You will meet some nice and friendly individuals in the company. Some are genuinely helpful and will give aid when requested. Including many mid and upper level managers. The company's HR is one of the better ones I've seen with a commendable and knowledgable Manager.

Cons

Work and more work. At times there appears to be so many things to do. From an admin staff to the sales team, there is too much paperwork, logs, documentations and reports for every single thing. It gets tiring after a while. How can anyone have the time to get a cuppa while working is beyond me. There does not seem to be much growth for the company and also career-wise, upper management is usually reserved for long-serving staff and as such they don't vacate their position often enough.

Pros

Good exposure to wide range of scientific products. Great if you are working as service engineer or sales person.

Cons

Management looks closely on profit and loss, and would micro manage to 'raise' productivity. They would limit headcount when business is not meeting their expectation. Unless employees bring in enough revenue to cover cost of hiring new headcount, management would prefer not and let employees struggle on overwhelming workload.
