Pros

Challenging projects within the heavy construction relm that will add graet value to ones resume.

Cons

I was recruited from college only because I had the same last name as a current employee of the company who I did not know. Most of upper management are related to each other in someway and if you are not consider you're self out the door in 3 to 5 years. The reason for this, its less expense to retain current employees and adjust their salaries for 3 % inflation each year than to employee a low pay college graduate with no per diem requirements, or family subsistence.

Pros

Cherne was an outstanding company to work for with plenty of room for advancement! A company that was proud of their name and the Men and Women who worked for them! Kiewit came in and ruined this company and its name after all the hard word over the years and the took away the Pride it had earned!

Cons

After Keiwit took over there was nothing good
