Pros

Generous compensation for part-time instructors Flexible schedule perfect for college students and professionals looking for a side job or to re-enter the workforce Corporate culture is engaging and professional Company is growing Teaching chess to elementary students is fun and rewarding Approachable upper management open to new ideas Teaching a game that I love to young learners

Cons

Chess Wizards is a growing company that is expanding in new regions across the United States. With that growth comes the challenges of managing effectively, Chess Wizards is updating technology to accomodate the growth but that takes time. So often the procedures or systems in place are tedious and time-consuming. But that is not a negative. With strong growth there are bound to be problems. Chess Wizards looks at the issues as opportunities to improve and innovate not to stagnate.
