Benefits, job security, training program and opportunities, nice campus, administration values employees and is gearing towards supporting the young professionals and future leaders of the county

Cons

Work/life balance, new PTO system which is not helpful for parents of young children since someone is always sick, lack of opportunities for flexible hours, telecommuting, and job-sharing even for positions that are well-suited for those arrangements

Pros

Good salary, retirement, insurance. Interesting work, and always the opportunity to work overtime for extra money. Good law enforcement community.

Cons

Mandatory overtime, shift work, supervisors have free reign and no oversight. Staffing levels are terrible due to the attitude issues from coworkers, supervision, and management. No shift differential for midnights.
