Pros

You are given under armor clothing for your uniform. The pros are limited. You are only given 30hrs maximum to work a week. For a summer gig for a kid that lives in the city, it is great for easy cash.

Cons

HR has a bias. If they do not like you, they will do what they can to throw you under the bus. Same for the supervisors. The skullduggery is egregious. Supervisors will shake with their right hand, and will stab you with their left. The organization willing lets employees steal from them, and will turn a blind eye. The supposed "promotional items they have", where there are only a couple thousand or 10,000 a game. Well staff in upper management hides them and keeps them for themselves. Back to the human resources department, they will hide your information regarding your Union. They will operate to keep you away from your Union, and your Union representative. The union is 236 for future reference.

Pros

Ticket perks for family and friends (subject to certain conditions). Great health, dental, and life insurance benefits. Good employer matching on 401k.

Cons

Pay is not competitive. Hours are terrible. Ticket perks can't be enjoyed by the employee when working game days.

Pros

You have the freedom to choose what days you want to work. You can disappear for a month, go on vacation, and you will still have your job when you get back.

Cons

Everyone above you is condescending and the rest of the employees are treated like trash. However many employees are too blind to notice because that' right "I work for the Chicago Cubs" Like that's supposed to make up for the terrible hours and terrible pay. Breaks are a joke and favoritism is blatant. If you are not a tryhard, the supervisors will hunt you down if you take longer than your expected 15 minute break. There is no reason for you to try to go above and beyond and be the superstar when you do your job. You might get recognition, but you will not move up in position, get a raise, or even offered a better position. You will just get a thank you and everyone moves on with their lives. There are absolutely zero benefits working this position. You don't even get free food, no free or discounted tickets, or discounted merch. How greedy do you have to be, Wrigley, to not give your employees something in return when you are banking in millions every game?
