Cons
It seems quite surprising and unorthodox to appoint someone without an IT background to lead, manage, and make decisions for such a significant IT department in a company of this size. The new IT manager has a degree in music, not IT. This decision raises concerns about its potential long-term impact on the team’s performance and overall efficiency. Although I did not work there for very long, I wanted to share my observations and thoughts. Imagining what it would be like to work under this manager raises additional concerns, especially given the existing dysfunctions and ambiguities within the IT team under this manager's management.
