Incompetent management

Pros

1)You are working towards a good cause. 2)The work can be varied and there are passionate people. 3) Good annual leave (but also a con - see below)

Cons

1) Poor leadership. Management are incapable of making sensible decisions and are incredibly unprofessional and spread negative energy amongst staff. 2) Nobody is really clear on their job roles and there is a real culture of blame. 3) CEO and some members of management are known bullies, but there is no process to report this so people either quit, or are quietly paid off to leave. 4) CEO doesn't support staff who become pregnant whilst at work, to the point that members of staff have been known to return to work 2 weeks after giving birth. 5) You are contacted continuously whilst on annual leave and expected to be 'on call' at all times and deemed to not be hard working if you ignore a call whilst on leave. That is if you manage to take your leave, many people are unable to take leave as there is nobody to cover your work. 6) No career development opportunities
