Pros

Great team with very sharp minds. You will be able to work with a very knowledgeable team of engineers.

Cons

Upper management is the biggest con to this company. This has been mentioned many times in other reviews, but this still holds to be true. The work environment tends to be overly strict with very dated company policies. DO NOT fall for the "hybrid" bull that they push in interviews. Yes hybrid by technicality, but only on Fridays. There is very little flexibility with your work schedule and you will find yourself burning through PTO as a result. It is also against company policy to WFH if you are sick or unable to make it into the office for any reason, so again you are forced to take PTO. Management is completely out of touch with their staff.

Pros

Great team of engineers Good MSP tools exposure

Cons

Leadership is severely lacking Office manager promoted to COO with lack of qualifications for said role Owner only cares about the bottom line. Doesn't know/remember most employee's names Salary well below industry average Minimal raises despite how good of reviews you have with your Manager Revolving door of Engineers and Service Managers over the past 5 years due to conflicts with the current COO Toxic work environment Owner will yell at everyone in one breath then wonder why morale is so low in his next breath No formal HR department (same toxic leadership handle HR related issues) Owner screwed over his business partner of nearly 20 years (and friend for much longer than that) over managerial differences

Pros

• The engineering team is highly technical and responsive—clients benefit from quick access to knowledgeable support. • Some opportunities for advancement, though limited and infrequent. • Allowed one work from home day per week, but not for sickness or life situations.

Cons

• Toxic culture driven by immature and unprofessional leadership. • Constant pressure to be instantly available; missing calls leads to reprimands. • Raises are minimal—barely above inflation, and often don’t reach industry averages. • Bonuses are dangled as perks but don’t meaningfully improve compensation. • Benefits are meager and often framed as generous favors. • Leadership takes resignations personally—once you leave, you’re treated like a traitor. • Overall lack of appreciation for employee well-being or long-term retention. • Company culture declined significantly after the original partnership split. • The CEO appointed an unqualified manager as COO, whose leadership style is erratic, authoritarian, and often inappropriate. o COO frequently makes crude sexual jokes in the workplace and exhibits bullying behavior. o COO keeps one of two office bathrooms locked for their personal use, forcing 15+ employees to share one.
