Chromebook Parts has an incredible work culture—positive, supportive, and genuinely fun. The pay is competitive, leadership is approachable and empowering, and the team truly cares about one another. Hands down the best work environment I've ever been part of!

Some Nice People, Bad Management

Pros

Most people are nice. The benefits are okay. Random work events usually with food.

Cons

2 sizeable layoffs in 2 years. Expect more. Managers don't know what they are doing, especially the upper management team. It doesn't seem like any of them actually know how to be managers let alone be executives. The CEO is almost never in the office and it shows. They are running the company into the ground because none of them know what they are doing. They like to play pretend business-person and imagine they are running a fortune 500 company. They aren't. They are running a failing small business selling sketchy computer parts. Anytime there is a problem, it doesn't feel like you can bring it up to the mangers. If you do, they get defensive and try to turn it around on you. Zero accountability. Everything is really inefficient and poorly thought out. It feels like you have to fight to get anything done and it is exhausting. It can take months for parts to move through the warehouse unless you constantly ask about them. Processes also randomly change and no one will tell you about it until after the fact. Even the ERP system layout changes randomly, in the middle of the day without any warning. The CEO bought the building they were renting which had 2 suites, the other one was occupied. Instead of renting out the other suite to the existing tenant or a new tenant, they combined the suites to make room for the tiny repair team. The repair team keeps shrinking and already had a work area that they weren't even fully utilizing. Then he let his rich friends park their boats in that area all winter. That is the caliber of business mind that you are dealing with here.
