Chubbies isn’t at all what it used to be since they merged with Solo Brands and went public. The company is hemorrhaging employees by them either leaving or being fired as the new management teams who are completely incompetent clean house of all remnants of what Chubbies used to be. Run far far away and find another company to work for because all of the positive reviews are referring to the old Chubbies culture. This place has turned incredibly toxic and includes a management team who not only doesn’t know what they’re doing, but is resistant to learning about the brand and choosing to pave their own way without the team who built Chubbies to what it is today.

If you enjoy cold, shallow interactions with supervisors that place no value in you then this is the job for you! I would liken work experience here to working in any number of places predominately ran by single, motherless, divorced women in their 30's-40's (or a bunch of beta males) with nothing but this job to speak of. Think lululemon, Ulta, the cosmetics counters in any department store, local hair salon etc. Your interactions with heads of retail will be hollow, catty, and extremely shallow as mentioned above but glossed over with the perfect amount of "HR." They will stand as a constant reminder that you are expendable but will be served to you with an enormous fake smile and a huge helping of insincerity.

Very much a "bro/boys club" Management is a mess and unless you're one of the original or founding employees there you will always be an outsider Shocked at the amount of drinking/partying on the job So unorganized and constantly will ask last minute, ridiculous requests or change their mind halfway through completing a task
